The Jungle Parrot design was born of a journey to Cambodia, in particular to the ruins of Angkor Wat, where architecture, vegetation, and vibrancy coexist. Painted originally in watercolor, the scene unfolds like a miniature tableau at the center of each plate. The storybook composition, anchored by a distinct striped rim rendered in five colorways, offers a modern counterpoint, a signature of Lisa Corti.
